Asia TOPA will be a feast for the senses and with Melbourne the food capital of Australia, it seems only natural that food and cuisine are included in your Asia TOPA experience.
Arts Centre Melbourne has teamed up with three of Melbourne’s best chefs to take ‘dinner and a show’ to a whole new level during Asia TOPA.
Victor Liong (Lee Ho Fook), David Moyle (Longsong) and Jerry Mai (Pho Nom) will take over three of Arts Centre Melbourne’s food and beverage venues from 14 February to 5 March 2017.
Diners will be able to choose from a modern Chinese banquet by Victor Liong in the Members’ Dining Room, a classic Vietnamese eatery in Café Vic (think steaming bowls of pho and fresh bahn mi) by Jerry Mai and a selection of Thai street food by David Moyle in The Barre and The Barre Backyard.
The Barre Backyard will be transformed into a relaxed eating experience. Grills will be fired up and cocktails in collaboration with Melbourne Gin Company will be served.
These dining experiences will be open to the general public as well as those seeing Asia TOPA performances, with visitors encouraged to embrace the festival feel and enjoy the culinary experience however they may choose – from a cocktail and snack in The Barre Backyard to a full Chinese banquet in the exclusive Members’ Dining Room.
