Guest Curator, Dr Sadiah Boonstra
Presented in partnership with the University of Melbourne, MPavilion, Asialink Arts, Consortium and Program Partners
Asia TOPA’s public program invites you to connect more deeply with the artists and works in the festival through a series of creative interventions, talks and panel discussions, masterclasses and performances. From conversations about the interplay of art and politics through to explorations of art making, the public program is an opportunity to explore the broader issues that shape contemporary daily life in the Asia Pacific region.
Dr Sadiah Boonstra is a curator and historian. Sadiah was appointed as Asia Scholar at the University of Melbourne to undertake this project alongside academic work. Over three periods of residency in Melbourne and numerous visits to commissioned artists across Asia, Sadiah has collaborated with Asia TOPA program partners to curate the public program.
