We strive to make every Asia TOPA event as accessible as possible.

Services including Audio Description and Interpreting will be provided on request. All Access Service bookings are required by (insert).

Access-Friendly

In an access-friendly performance the doors to the theatre will remain open, the house lights will be up throughout the performance and staff will be available to offer assistance. There will be a chill out zone available in the foyer.

Wheelchair Access

The venue is wheelchair accessible. If this symbol is not displayed, access maybe limited or may require assistance from staff. Please contact the venue to discuss access requirements before booking.


Deaf Or Hearing Impaired

Assistive Hearing

Sound amplification systems are available for people who are hearing impaired or deaf. For assistance, please see the venue staff.

Audio Description

Vision Australia also offers a free audio description service and tactile tours for selected performances, phone (03) 9864 9222 for details.

Interpreted

Auslan Interpreter services are for audiences who are Deaf and use sign language as their primary communication. To request hearing Interpreter services please contact us.

Highly Visual

Some show are highly visual with little or no spoken word and are therefore suitable for audience members who are Deaf, hard of hearing or speak a language other than English. Please note that there is often sound composition throughout live performances.
